Book Review: Doodletopia Cartoons by Christopher Hart

Drawing has never been my strong suit. I want to be a good drawer because it would make drawing storyboards quicker and more fun. Most of the time when I draw, I want to break my pencil and throw my notebook because I never can get it to look like how I see it.   I get way to frustrated. For the hell of it, I thought about seeing if Christopher Hart's book Doodletopia: Cartoons could teach me how to draw his cute vintage cartoons characters.

Hart's book was a lot of fun. It is nice how he shows you how to draw it on the left page and then the right page he has a blank space for you to try it out on.

I didn't draw in the book just in case I decide not to keep it. Throughout this book, there are many hints and fun information.

Would I recommend this book?  I really wished some of the harder character drawings, towards of the end of the book, had step by step drawings like the first part of the book.
Again it is a fun book.
